Check out the first officially released pic of Micheal Myers from Rob Zombies sequal H2: Halloween.

I don’t know what to say. I have waited so long for movie maker to unmask Myers, it doesn’t matter what they make him look like as long as it not something rediculous. I do however like the direction they are going with the movie finally putting an end to the mystery in the Halloween series. Theres nothing better than a masked murder, except when they finally decided to end the story.

Check out the new character posters Warner Bros. released for Hangover:

A Las Vegas-set comedy centered around three groomsmen who lose their about-to-be-wed buddy during their drunken misadventures, then must retrace their steps in order to find him.

This already looks like it could be one of the funniest of the year. The last one is crazy, i couldn’t imagine waking up with a baby that I didn’t have the night before. All i know is I would be p-i-s-s-e-d.

Hangover hits theaters June 5th, be sure to check it out

Wiz Reviewz: Obsessed

This weekend I managed to check out Obsessed, the dramatic thriller starring Idris Elba, Beyonce Knowles and Ali Larter.

obsessed_poster

Off gate I just wanna say that Beyonce is mad sexy….Now that that’s out of the way, lets get to the movie. Honestly it’s wasn’t that bad, see I am by far in no way or fashion a fan of Beyonce’s acting but this time she did her thing. Maybe she feed off the energy Idris gave in his performance or maybe it was just the fact that she’s getting better but whatever the case maybe be she delivered a performance that’s actually worth while. Though she seemed kinda corney at times, like in the fight scene between character’s Sharon and Lisa. It just seems kinda hard to take Beyonce serious when shes fighting in 6 inch heels and looking better than a glass of  ice water on a hot day,

beyonce-obsessed

Now Idris Elba on the other hand should be ashamed of himself, the movie wasn’t that  bad. When word got out that Beyonce’s acting  might bring the end of his acting career(rumored) he listens, everyone knows when your in the biz you never ever EVER listen to the critics. And the messed up part is he did one hell of a job, looks like someone has some self confidence issues. But all shit talking aside, the movie wouldn’t of been the same without him…Just throwing this in there, it’s dope how his accent disappears when he’s filming….if you haven’t heard  it, he has a DEEP English accent.

Obsessed

I have to say, if Ali Larter got into my car with some sexy lingerie it would be a lie if I would say “Nothing Happened”…that is if i can get past the stalkerish image  she left in my head,..She played this role a little bit to well, hopefully she not like most other actors and got caught up in the role then 6 moths later we hear news saying she’s stalked her way into jail.

Ali Larter

Overall I’d say this movie was a up to time remake of Fatal Attraction, but it’s good for what it is. It’s definitely worth checking out.

Sincerely,

The Wiz

Actor Paul Giamatti is set to star in Barney’s Version.

Check out a short synopsis of the book:

The story is written in the style of an autobiography of Barney Panofsky, and recounts his life in varying detail. At the end of the book he is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease, which explains his memory losses (corrected by his son Michael through the use of foot-notes), and his repeatedly reminding himself of the name of the utensil used to strain spaghetti (a colander). Barney may be viewed as an unreliable narrator, in that his recollections go from lucid to ludicrous with his varying mental states, but he is only mistaken about minor things. In the end Barney is right about the most questionable event in the book, that he did not murder Boogie. Mike learns it must have been a water bomber plane that picked up Boogie while he was swimming in the lake while Barney was asleep, and dropped the water on the mountain.

Also set to star in the film are actress Julia Roberts and acotr Clive Owen.Be sure to check back as moreis to come.

Check out the first of the Bruno movie posters:

OK….Not much to say about this one, other than it’s extremely gay….But it’s the point of the movie so as much as it aches me to say this….it’s in good taste…there i said it..I guess it’s kinda good for what it is, nothing special though.

Bruno is set to hit theaters July 10th, be sure to check it out.

There just no stopping Denzel….

denzel_washington

Set to star in Tony Scott’s Unstoppable, this will be Denzel’s fifth time pairing up with Scott to deliver one hell of a performance. Already having Crimson Tide, Deja Vu, Man On Fire and yet to be released The Taking Of Pelham 123 under their belts, I can assure you the dynamic duo will not disappoint.

Here’s a short summary of the plot provided by IMDB:

Unstoppable, a 20th Century Fox drama about a runaway train carrying a cargo of toxic chemicals. Pits an engineer and his conductor in a race against time. They’re chasing the runaway train in a separate locomotive and need to bring it under control before it derails on a curve and causes a toxic spill that will decimate a town.

Unstoppable is set to hit theaters sometime in 2011. Be sure to check back in as more info is released

Check out the trailer for Rob Zombie’s latest imstallment in the Halloween series, H2: Halloween two. Doesn’t look like much at first but it kinda gets better. It’s already looking like Zombie did a better job on the first installment, Halloween (2007).

H2: Halloween 2 is set to hit theaters August 28, 2009.

Wiz Reviewz: Role Models

Instant classic…..Hands down, Role Models has to be the funniest movies I’ve seen so far this year.

role_models_movie_poster

Where should I start?…First, McLovin killed it…I gotta hand it to him, the guys just funny. In the movie Christopher Mintz-Plasse plays a nerdy teen outcast by his peers because he is obsessed with the medieval world called  Lair, named Augie Farks. Picture McLovin, but less concerned with  his social life. Anyway, he walks around with a cape and a plastic sword…no wonder his guidance counselor placed him in the mentoring program and trust me his mentor doesn’t have a clue what he’s getting into. But he’s not the only over the edge mentee in the program, let me introduce the hell raising Ronnie Shields, the youngest child in the mentoring program but don’t let his size fool you he’s got the mouth of a sailor and the balls to back it up. Bobb’e J. Thompson really out did himself this time, I’m sure he had one hell of a time with all the cussing they let him do.

Danny Donachue, played by Paul Rudd, and Wheeler, played by Sean Wiliam Scott, get into legal trouble and have the choice of doing community service at Sturdy Wings mentoring program or spend 30 days in jail. It’s obvious which choice they pick but it wasn’t without great thought after meeting their new mentee’s referred to as “Littles”. As if having to deal with a teen dressed in midevil battle gear and a swearing toddler as you Littles, Sturdy Wing’s Program Director Gayle Sweeny, played by Jane Lynch. Similar to her work in The 40 Year Old Virgin, the uptight power crazy bitch in the management position. Just to give you a taste of her brilliance her a quote from the movie:

Me and the judge have a special relationship… I don’t wanna get too graphic but I sucked his dick for drugs.

Would I recommend you see this movie? Hell Yes..it’s definately worth it.

Lauren Donner, producer of X-men Origins: Wolverine, spoke with SCI FI Wire about the rumored Magneto installment in the X-Men Origins series.

I don’t know. We have a great script. Honestly, we have all been just so focused on getting ‘Wolverine’ out that we didn’t take the time to sit down and explore ‘What are the movies we’re going to do next within the genre?’ We will do that. We will do that. We all want to. ‘Magneto’ is a fantastic script, and hopefully we’ll make it. I don’t know.

In the movie biz, that means yes. I doubt they’ll miss out on a chance to make money.

In an interview with Sony Picture Entertainment’s co-chairmen Amy Pascal and Michael Lynton and Forbes, Sony Picture executives were asked if they would consider doing Spider Man 4 in 3-D.

Lynton commented:

People are paying a premium to see movies in 3-D and that’s a very big deal. It’s never been done before that someone says you have to pay more to see Spider-Man than a romantic comedy.

spiderman-4

If Spider Man going to 3-D, I’m sure that I won’t be the only person to support the web slinging superhero.
