Director Quentin Tarantino made a special appearance on Fox’s American Idol last night. Thought he didn’t hit a note on the show he did however hit a few in the video he brought with him, well he tried to anyway…The video he aired on American Idol was footage from his new film starring Brad Pitt and Mike Myers titled Inglorious Basterds…

Now there are some people out there that think  its a desperate move going on American Idol to promote a movie but it might be a smarter move than most seem to think…American Idol gets at least a strong million or so viewers every live episode so that’s at least a million people who at least know your making a movie…What people don’t realize is that whenever we hear something whether we like what we heard or not it will still cross our brains at some point in time. So if a million people watched American Idol then Quentin Tarantino had at least a million people think about his movie…..Nice move
