Set to hit theaters April 24, 2009 the Soloist:
Based on the true story of musical prodigy Nathaniel Ayers (Jamie Foxx), who developed schizophrenia in his second year at Juilliard and ended up homeless on the streets of downtown L.A. where he performs the violin and cello. The drama is based on the relationship the musician developed with Steve Lopez (Downey), a Los Angeles Times reporter whose column informed the script, as did a book Lopez is writing that Putnam will publish in the spring.
Though sick and rather twisted…Se7en is definitely in my top 5 All Time Favz hands down….

This film is about homicide detectives’, Detective Lt. William Sumerset and Detective David Mills, as they hunt down a serial killer who’s cunning abilities give them a run for there money…Early into the investigations the detectives realize that they are after something much more than a ruthless killer, they’re after one with brains…. They soon discover that his aim is something more than petty murdering, justifying his actions as Gods punishment for humanities abuse of the Seven Deadly Sins….Director David Fincher takes us from one tortured victim to another each one a abuser of one of the Seven Deadly Sins: Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Lust, Pride, Envy and Wrath…It’s takes the wisdom and knowledge of Sumerset and the egarness and determination of Mills to stop this mass murderer, but not without sacrifice……

After announcing that she was joining Mickey Rourke in the comic book thrillers Fathom and Hex, Megan Fox has hit the blogs again…This time shes hitting the border in The Crossing.
In the movie Fox will play a woman wrapping up a Mexican vacation with her husband when they’re carjacked and her man is kidnapped. In order to free him, she has to smuggle heroin across the border.

Seeing that I’m a huge Shop of Horrors Fan, I am excited that they’ve decided to do a remake… I’m interested to see how they bring the film up to date. With the newest innovations and inventions rocking the production aspect of the movie making process I’m sure they won’t disappoint…But if things should turn south for the film and it bombs Little Shop of Horrors is damn near a household name so their fan base should help with ticket sales…….Well it should….

Roger Corman’s 1960 comedy The Little Shop of Horror is being updated by director Declan O’Brien (upcoming Wrong Turn 3). “I just optioned the remake rights,” told the site. “We’re going to set that up as a studio feature.” The director is going to be shepherded by Corman and The Bourne Identity producer Andrew Tennenbaum.
