Lauren Donner, producer of X-men Origins: Wolverine, spoke with SCI FI Wire about the rumored Magneto installment in the X-Men Origins series.

I don’t know. We have a great script. Honestly, we have all been just so focused on getting ‘Wolverine’ out that we didn’t take the time to sit down and explore ‘What are the movies we’re going to do next within the genre?’ We will do that. We will do that. We all want to. ‘Magneto’ is a fantastic script, and hopefully we’ll make it. I don’t know.

In the movie biz, that means yes. I doubt they’ll miss out on a chance to make money.

In an interview with Sony Picture Entertainment’s co-chairmen Amy Pascal and Michael Lynton and Forbes, Sony Picture executives were asked if they would consider doing Spider Man 4 in 3-D.

Lynton commented:

People are paying a premium to see movies in 3-D and that’s a very big deal. It’s never been done before that someone says you have to pay more to see Spider-Man than a romantic comedy.

If Spider Man going to 3-D, I’m sure that I won’t be the only person to support the web slinging superhero.

For those who are anticipating the release of Tom Hank’s Angle ans Demons and anyone who is a fan of The Da Vinci Code, get ready because the fun just wont stop. This time around Robert Langdon will be unraveling secrets in The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. The book is set to hit stores September 15 in the U.S. and Canada.

Seeing how Sony owns the right to the chracter Robert Langton, it would be to no ones suprise if the novel became the basis for a third film. Which will most undoubtly be another chase to find anwsers  pasts all the dead ends and thousands of years of lies and secrects. Sounds exciting

As a child I was told that i was a HUGH Ninja Turtles fan…I even have memories of a Ninja Turtle bed spread…So no matter how much I tried to fight it, when I heard word of a 5th installment I couldn’t hold in my excitement.

This time around they plan to focus on the origins of the shelled crime fighters. Don’t know how much more they can tell. It’s not like it’s a big mystery, four turtles fell into some radio active waste and got mutant powers…Sounds like it’d make one hell of a movie.lol. With a 20011 release date it looks like we’ll have to wait to find out.

Writer Evan Spiliotopoulos, who co-wrote Pooh’s Heffalump Movie and its DVD Halloween spin-off, has been hired to write the script for Universal sequel Wanted 2. Like it’s earlier predecessor, Wanted 2will be based on the comic book series created by Mark Millar and J.G. Jones.

I took a quick look at Evan Spiliotopoulos’ bio on IMDBjust to see what other screenplays he’s done before…Quite frankly I don’t see why Universal chose him over the original screen writers…The majority of Spiliotopoulos work has been on children’s movies….I’m not sure he’s the perfect choice for a grown up movie..lol….But i guess i can’t knock the guy too much, there’s only one way to broaden your horizons…Just get up and do it…Not too sure I’d be wiling to risk loosing millions of dollars all because someone wanted to try new things, but that would be blamed on the dumb ass at Universal…

There’s nothing better than a sexy drug smuggler……Especially when the smuggler is Megan Fox……Sexy and bad make for a great combination…

After announcing that she was joining Mickey Rourke in the comic book thrillers Fathom and Hex, Megan Fox has hit the blogs again…This time shes hitting the border in The Crossing.

In the movie Fox will play a woman wrapping up a Mexican vacation with her husband when they’re carjacked and her man is kidnapped. In order to free him, she has to smuggle heroin across the border.

Director Quentin Tarantino made a special appearance on Fox’s American Idol last night. Thought he didn’t hit a note on the show he did however hit a few in the video he brought with him, well he tried to anyway…The video he aired on American Idol was footage from his new film starring Brad Pitt and Mike Myers titled Inglorious Basterds…

Have a look at the footage:

Now there are some people out there that thinkĀ  its a desperate move going on American Idol to promote a movie but it might be a smarter move than most seem to think…American Idol gets at least a strong million or so viewers every live episode so that’s at least a million people who at least know your making a movie…What people don’t realize is that whenever we hear something whether we like what we heard or not it will still cross our brains at some point in time. So if a million people watched American Idol then Quentin Tarantino had at least a million people think about his movie…..Nice move

Wow…Whatever those guys involved in Tron 2’s pre-production are smoking must be some serious shit…They have to be sky high…From experience I can tell you that when your sky high you think of stupid shit like making a sequel with a $300 million budget with the original only costing $17 million…

Check out the statement from Vancouver Sun about Tron 2 ’s pre-production budget:

Vancouver post-production units are salivating at the prospects presented by the Disney remake of Tron, which carries a whopping $300 million budget and opportunities aplenty for effects and digital polish. The 1982 version of the film starring Jeff Bridges blazed new trails in computer graphics and you can bet Tron 2.0 will push much further down the pixel path.

Garrett Hedlund (Eragon, Troy) and Olivia Wilde (House, The OC) have been cast in lead roles. Bridges is also reportedly appearing in the new film along with original Tron alumnus Bruce Boxleitner. Disney has set up offices in town and shooting should get underway this spring.

With a 300 million dollar budget, this better be the best movie ever… With today’s technology, $300 million should buy the worlds bestĀ  CG effects so there will be know excuse if it drops…More to come
